Another World Series has came upon us and once again I am dead wrong on predictions. At the beginning of the year I had the Yankees over the Cubs in the World Series. While the Cubs made the playoffs, the Yanks faltered and now we're with the unlikely Tampa Bay Rays versus the Philadelphia Phillies. I was quite surprised as I had the Rays eliminated by the Saux. It almost happened, but Tampa squeezed out a victory on Sunday night setting up this matchup. Following the American League's 3-2 win over the National League, the AL team was given the World Series. Thus 4 of the games will be played in Tampa Bay at Tropicana Field.
Here is the schedule for the World Series:
Game 1:October 22nd at Tampa Bay 8pm FOX
Game 2:October 23rd at Tampa Bay 8:30pm FOX
Game 3:October 25th at Philadelphia 8pm FOX
Game 4:October 26th at Philadelphia 8pm FOX
Game 5:October 27th at Phialdelphia 8pm FOX
Game 6:October 29th at Tampa Bay 8pm FOX
Game 7:October 30th at Tampa Bay 8pm FOX
My prediction for the World Series is that the Rays will win in 6. Taking Games 1, 2, 4, and 6.
